I had posted a comment earlier about my surgery and that I thought it only fixed one thing. That one thing was the pain that shot down my legs into my toes. It is weird that this afternoon I was sitting with my wife at our eight-year-old's baseball game and we were discussing the subject about if the surgery had done me any good or not. I told her then that in some ways my pain is worse and not better then I said at least there wasn't anymore pain shooting into my toes.
Guess what???? Well, first off this has been a busy week for our family and I've had to do some things to help out or we wouldn't be able to keep up with everything. My back didn't get much rest and my baseline pain level has been increasing all week. It had reached the point where it's hard to move my legs because it hurts so bad. I made that comment to my wife and after the game, as we were walking back to the car, I felt like I couldn't make the walk. Of course, I had to, there was no choice. By the time we got home, lo and behold, pain was shooting into my toes for the first time since my surgery. So much for surgical success!

Ouch! That's a bad situation to be in. By the way, have you heard of http://invisibledisabilities.ning.com/ ? It is 'A Social Network For People Touched by Chronic Illness, Pain and Injury'. I joined recently and think you might like it. It could be a way to share your blog with more people. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz!!! I checked out the site and joined. I apprechiate the point in that direction and I think it will prove to be a valuable resource.
